On Saturday September 13, “Utila. Live!” comes to Bando Beach in Utila.
Live! is a music festival featuring 5 live acts in various genres including; classic rock, alternative, rap, blues, and heavy metal, with DJ Santi spinning vinyl and taking the Festival into the early hours of Sunday morning. Bando Beach is a private, white sand beach, with lounge chairs, full bar, and bathroom facilities. Bando Beach entrance is located at the eastern end of Utila Harbor, a couple of minutes walk from the Utila Princess Ferry dock, turn right when coming out of the dock. Gates open at 3:00 pm and the live music starts at 5:00 pm. $10 for a day/night admission. $12 for a Utila Live! Festival T-shirt. Limited availability of ‘early purchase package’ including a day/night ticket plus a Utila Live! Festival T-shirt, all for $17. Tickets are available from Skid Row Bar in Sandy Bay.
Food will be sold during the festival. The festival is the first of it’s kind on Utila and was conceived of a desire to bring a diverse, professionally produced, annual live music festival to the Island.
