U.S. and Honduras – New Security cooperation

In the past five years +/- things have not gone very smoothly at times it seems with the U.S. and Honduras and that seems to be changing. That said the U.S. maintains the largest military base in Central and South America here on the mainland.

The base is called ‘Soto Cano’. There seems to be a better relationship now with the new Honduras President which should change considerably the security aspects of the country nd be beneficial to all. The below is a recent article in Honduras.com (a good source for English speakers by the way).
