When you open this month’s issue of our newsletter you may notice some visual differences. If you normally use a tablet or smart phone you should notice a considerable difference in that the overlapping of photos should be gone and the entire site will ‘fit’ your screen and be more user friendly. We have been working on a ‘re-make’ to that end which is now completed. Laptop or desktop users may just notice things have cleared up or maybe look a little crisper or clearer. We are also working on a re-make of our other brokerage site www.roatanbayisland.com but that one will take longer.
Well summer is here and most of the ‘snow birds’ are gone enjoying the cool nights and pleasant days, BBQs, and picnics. Here on the island we are still pretty active though not ‘busy’ like we are in the ‘high season’. We still are getting a couple + cruise ships a week so the local economy is still moving along a bit. It also is the time of year when our hot days are a lot cooler due to the beautiful Caribbean breezes. This is the time of year people from south Texas, Louisiana, Arizona and Mississippi tend to vacation because it is a lot warmer there then it is here. They also tend to love the idea that they can escape the ‘heat’ here and many often do a reverse ‘snow bird’ situation whereas the property they invest in here can often be rented out much easier when the other snowbirds escape the winter freeze.
