As I mentioned in last month’s newsletter, this month’s update will be short and sweet. I am visiting family for the holidays. My wife and I have already been to Denver, Colorado, St. Paul, Minnesota, and in a week, we will travel to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Yes, I know, north of the Mason Dixon Line in the winter? Ahh, what we do for our kids and grandkids!
That being said, our team has generated a great selection of real estate deals, new listings, and notable properties. Many of the options listed below are not RE/MAX Listings but are on our local MLS.

One of the questions we get quite often is “how much does it cost to live there”. Basically that is a tough one because it really depends on how each individual wishes to live. Do you need a car or will you take local taxis? Will you want to buy the brand name foods that you buy in North America? If yes remember those are now ‘imported’ foods when you move here. Less in property taxes? Check. Less in Medical, Dentistry and prescriptions? Check? Everyone is different. If you are bringing ‘there’, ‘here’ probably not. The Sky Restaurant sits at the top of a ridge that runs the length of the island. To get to this hilltop, one would enter the Pristine Bay development in French Harbor. If you were to go to the very top of the hill, you would be able to see 360º including the city of French Harbor, the Black Pearl Golf Course, and the gorgeous north shore aqua blue/deep blue waters for miles. Make sure to bring a camera and enjoy the cultural cuisine creations of a mainland chef. Open daily noon to 10 PM.
March Discovery Tour
This coming year, we are changing things with the Discovery and Investment Tour as our digital tour has become very popular. For those who have committed to this year’s tour and will be joining us in March, you will receive a personal email from me. Although our original website has not changed much over the last sixteen years, we are preparing for an update. Web designers call a new look a “new skin” and in the next few weeks, we will be getting new skin.
