We have really been busy here on the island with winter up north, each year we have many visitors. Here at RE/MAX, especially so, with an ever growing company and some really great deals. Although vacant land, (parcels, home sites) are very much a bargain, often at prices from the early 2000’s, Residential properties are creeping up in price. I believe personally that it will be years, many years where prices will be considered high, especially when comparing to virtually all other Caribbean locations. It seems we are the “Last Caribbean Frontiers” With new building options now available on the island, it drastically decreases energy usage and speeds up buildout time, vacant land is something to consider for all.
We have our “Investment & Discovery Tour” happening again this February 22nd, where those who are really serious about making a move here in regard to a permanent location, a vacation home or investment property spend some time with real professionals. Although we are sold out this year, we are planning already to expand the program to make it more assessable to all. A new restaurant has opened on the island called the “Rusty Anchor”. It is at the Las Palmas resort mid island, south side. The have been open for a little now but have their Grand Opening upcoming on February 21st when they have some really great specials and great food.
