From now until the end of the year you still have time to take advantage of the tax amnesty now in effect until the end of this year. This cover any year you have not paid starting 2012
or before. The fines can be substantial so if you have not paid your taxes now is the time.
Although ‘here is not there’ in many ways if you are waiting for a tax bill to come in the mail that will not happen. This country expects you to come in to the Municipal that you have the property in and pay it. Also, if you live in a community or condo complex that you are paying HOA or COA fees in they DO NOT automatically pay your taxes from those fees.
Our office does provide that service for a fee if you are not going to make it down before the end of this year, but the long and short of it is that if you owe for multiple years you would be far better off getting it done so that you are not charged for those fines.
