In 1526, the Spanish conquistador Hernan Cortez, told King Charles V about this ancient ancient province called Xucuta that was said to exceed Mexico in riches and was it’s equal in size of towns, multitude of people and government. Since then many explorers have traveled into some of the densest and toughest areas of the world in the jungles of Honduras. With something called a ‘lidar mapping apparatus’ mounted on an airplane the apparatus can bounce laser lights off of the terrain below gathering readings, reading actually what is below the earth.
