High School Student is Bringing Drinking Water to Roatan
William Jewell is a senior at Timberline High School who is spending his free time working to bring clean drinking water to a Honduran island. William went on a trip with his family to Roatan, Honduras. During the trip, he visited a local school and noticed empty water bottles. William started the Roatan Water Project which has raised over $50,000. He says they have been able to install hydropanels at the Roatan Bilingual School and he now wants to spread them across the island.
