Hi my name is Todd Hagerty and I LOVE ROATAN.

I have been a self-employed entrepreneur my entire adult life. I have owned and operated several successful businesses including selling and building custom log homes and tiny homes. Real estate has always been a part of my entrepreneurial endeavors.

I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively, but the Caribbean has always been where I desire to call home. My recreational Passion of diving, deep sea fishing and beautiful beaches is how I first discovered Roatan in 1995. It was love at first sight. I have visited this Island every year for almost 20 years until eventually making Roatan my home in 2017 with my wife Lynn and my dog Hoss. It was then that my Passion for real estate building and investing turned into a reality as we purchased our first home here on the Island – a charming Island beach house.

My experience in the process of visiting and moving to the Caribbean and specifically to Roatan is unique. I have driven from the USA to the end of the line mainland Honduras at La Ceiba, the coastal city closest to the Island and ferried over to Roatan. I have completed this trip five times, driving from the USA through the neighboring countries all the way to Honduras…It’s not just the destination but also the journey!

Since I have personally experienced the home buying process, it allows me to help you understand the questions and concerns a purchaser may have when buying property in a foreign country. I have also been part of the process of forming a Honduran corporation allowing me to work legally, along with understanding the residency process, should you desire to choose that option.

Having completed the extensive RE/MAX process of becoming a licensed Realtor here in Honduras, and teaming up with a group of professionals that I work with and trust, will ultimately give you the confidence to help you experience an easier more comfortable transaction and transition, should you desire to purchase, invest, or sell your real estate here on Roatan.
